The Difference between Productive and Busy

Home business is unique in that you have to be very self-disciplined. Don’t confuse busy with productive, they are very different things. You can spend an entire day being busy and get absolutely nothing accomplished. You can spend countless hours in the various training classes and time on the phone chatting with business associates and still accomplish nothing.

Focus on results, how many effective press releases did I write today, did I post to all of my blogs, did I return all my phone calls asking for more information ? Get result oriented and forget just being busy. Part of building any successful business is the art of branding. If you’re unknown on Google, you may or may not be believed by your family and friends but are they prospects for your business ? Are you considered a business professional on the Internet ? If not, you’ll need to do some work.

There is no such thing as instant results or instant notoriety, even instant rice takes 5 minutes. The point is that you can achieve any level of success that you desire…if you’re willing to do the work. Number one tip, keep on keeping on, never quit, get your head right and the universe will follow.
